Αυτό είναι το BMW 2013 HP4 superbike.Το ολοκαίνουργιο 2013 HP4 έχει μια εντυπωσιακή, futuristic εμφάνιση, πολλά high-tech στοιχεία και έναν 4-κύλινδρο κινητήρα στα 1000 κ.εκ από την BMW S 1000 RR.
Είναι δε η HP4, η πιο ελαφριά sportbike στα 1000 κυβικά κατά την BMW με 193 ίππους στα 13,000 RPM και 82 λίβρες ροπής, ρυμθμισμένη κατά την εταιρία από το κατάστημα για την πίστα “no modifactions needed.”
Όπως η S 1000 RR έχει το Race antilock brake system (ABS) αλλά και το Dynamic Traction Control (DTC). Το ABS δουλεύει σε: “Rain”, “Sport”, “Race” και “Slick”. Στο δε “Slick” έχει 14 σημείων “micro-adjustments.”
Υπάρχει και το νέο Launch Control για… εκτοξεύσεις όπως και το “shift assistant” ενώ το Dynamic Dampening Control (DDC) επιτρέπει αλλαγές στο σύστημα ανεξάρτητα μπροστά και πίσω.
Το HP4 μαζί με τα HP2 Megamoto, HP2 Sport HP2 Enduro ανήκουν στην HP (“High Performance”) γραμμή από το 2005.
